Moby Dick

STAGE@THEDOCK, Wykeland House, Queen Street, Hull , HU1 1UU

2 - 12 Jun 2021

£20

A radical reworking of Herman Melville’s epic classic novel Moby Dick is brought to life by playwrights John Godber and Nick Lane in Hull’s own amphitheatre.

Let yourself be transported to the deck of Captain Ahab’s ship the Pequod in his catastrophic battle with the monster white whale!

Performed by a collection of vibrant and talented local actors and musicians, this production, staged at the amphitheatre: Stage@TheDock, is the perfect maritime classic. With references to Hull’s maritime history and contemporary discussions regarding oceanic conservation this is not a production to miss!

We are delighted that this production has been support by Arts Council England and the Wykeland Group, bringing theatre back to the audiences of Hull.

This production is an outdoor socially distanced event, masks are not required to be worn, but contract tracing may take place.

In cases of extreme weather, performances may be moved.

This performance has a suggested age rating of 14+
