On Mother’s Day 1924, house maid Jane takes a rare chance to spend an afternoon of abandon with her secret lover, Paul. The fact that Paul is engaged to another woman is of no concern to them in the depths of passion, but soon events that neither can foresee will change the course of Jane’s life forever.
