Spring into action this Easter as we celebrate the incredible wildlife and native species thriving in our local area!

From the 23rd March- 14th April, join us for Nature in Action, where we will be exploring everything from butterflies and bees, to bats and beetles!

Take part in our ‘Biodiversity Bingo’ Wildlife Spotter trail for the chance to win an egg-citing spring-themed prize bundle.

Enjoy daily workshops at 11am, 1pm and 3pm, to discover more about the impact biodiversity has on environments and ecosystems. Find out how to enhance your own wild spaces at home through interactive activities and demonstrations.

Pop down to Craft Corner and participate in nature-themed craft activities with our Crew!

Discover more about how you can get involved with spotting nature around the city, by using the iNaturalist app and how to take part in the City Nature Challenge. Learn about the conservation efforts our Crew are carrying out to save the rare Tansy Beetle, a species native to the banks of York’s River Ouse.

This event is proudly supported by two fantastic charities, Mires Beck Nursery and The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB).

Our Nature in Action event is included within your standard admission; no additional booking is required. Visitors are highly advised to book their visit in advance.
