OpenCampus Culture Cafe: Trauma and Utopianism in Second World War Hull – Part 2

UNIVERSITY OF HULL, Cottingham Road, Hull, HU6 74X

12 May 2018

Family Friendly

This session outlines the rhythms and geographies of the Hull Blitz between 1940 and 1945. It draws upon images and documents from the Hull History Centre, plus an outline of how aerial warfare was developed and theorised in the interwar period.

These new materials augment the broader lecture on a connected theme that Professor Atkinson presented in 2016.
