Hull Urban Opera Collective presents an evening of Opera Favourites sung by a fabulous quartet of soloists in the unique indoor space at Scale Lane Bridge. Join us for favourite moments – great arias and ensembles with one or two surprises – selected by you and performed by Poppy Shotts, Joanna Gamble, Alex Grainger and Eugene Dillon-Hooper with Ben Newton at the piano.
HUOC events are fun and informal and we encourage you to interact with our artists. Mulled wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be served with mince pies and optional Christmas jumpers.

The first footbridge of its kind in the world to allow people to ride on it while it opens, the Scale Lane footbridge was officially opened by former Lord Mayor of Kingston upon Hull and Admiral of the Humber, Councillor Nadine Fudge and Boulton from Homes and Communities Agency on Friday 28 June 2013.
