John Scott Whiteley, Organist Emeritus of York Minster, returns to Hull City Hall following his triumphant stint as the coordinator of the city’s Organfest in 2017.
The former Royal College of Music student who spent more than 35 years in York before making a name for himself through his performances of the complete organ music of Johann Sebastian Bach in the joint BBC2 and BBC4 commission 21st-Century Bach, has performed in illustrious venues all over the world and boasts some 28 solo recordings to his name.
