Sometimes things just feel wrong… or a bit off… or not quite right. Something or someone is missing and you need to find out what.
But how do you search for something when you don’t know what’s lost?
Over the week you will develop your skills as a theatre maker, you will create interesting characters and dialogue, you will learn key skills of acting and you will finish the week by performing your brand new play to an audience of parents, families and friends!
This project is for any young person aged 14 -18, who will have just finished school years 10, 11, 12 or 13. (If your young person has just finished year 9, please book for the 11-14 Play in A Week) The project takes place Monday 29th July to Friday 2nd August 2024, 9am – 3.30pm, every day at Hull Truck Theatre.
Cost for the week is £75 per participant. We are committed to the idea that finances shouldn’t be a barrier to participation, please get in touch if you would like to discuss reduced prices or bursary places. Contact engagment@hulltruck.co.uk to discuss.
You can sign up and pay online, by calling our box office on 01482 323 638 or come into the theatre and book in person.
Please arrive 10 minutes early on the first day so that we can fill in emergency information and contact forms. You will need to bring a packed lunch and water bottle each day.
If you have any questions please contact our Creative Learning team on engagement@hulltruck.co.uk or call us on 01482 488209.
