Working together, participants will create their own small, strange town, its people, its monuments, and its problems.
Who in town has all the power?
What has happened in the town’s history that shaped its destiny?
And are any of weird and wonderful rumours true?
Over the week you will develop your skills as a theatre maker, you will create interesting characters and dialogue, you will develop acting skills and you will finish the week by performing your brand new play to an audience of families and friends!
The project takes place Monday 12st August to Friday 16th August 2024, 10:30am – 4.30pm, every day at Hull Truck Theatre.
This project is for adults. Cost for the week is £75 per participant. We are committed to the idea that finances shouldn’t be a barrier to participation, please get in touch if you would like to discuss reduced prices or bursary places. Contact engagment@hulltruck.co.uk to discuss.
You can sign up and pay online, by calling our box office on 01482 323 638 or come into the theatre and book in person.
Please arrive 10 minutes early on the first day so that we can fill in emergency information and contact forms. Feel free to bring lunch and refreshments with you.
