Preserving Your Surplus

HUMBER STREET GALLERY, 64 Humber Street, HU1 1TU

20 Jul 2019

Family Friendly

“The People’s Picklery” is a 1-day only open-access community-run production line, turning found, foraged, surplus and donated produce into batches of healthy pickles, sauerkraut, kimchi and more.

Led by artist and social environmentalist Sean Roy Parker this workshop demonstrates how cheap, easy and nutritious these traditional forms of preservation are whilst empowering you with the knowledge you need to create food at home rather than buying from the supermarket.
