Hull Independent Cinema present: Red Rocket
Down and out in Los Angeles, former porn star Mikey decides to crawl back to his Texas hometown, where his estranged wife and mother-in-law live. Just as this dysfunctional family is making things work, Mikey meets a young woman working at a local doughnut shop and falls back into his old habits. A comedy that is also a nuanced and touching look at coping when life keeps dealing you a bad hand.
