2 day Glass painting and Stained Glass Workshop covering all the traditional techniques needed to create a small painted stained glass panel.
The workshop is a fun and informal 2 day course that covers glass cutting, design, glass painting, firing, leading and soldering. Set in the magnificent Minster, you can be inspired by their incredible collection of stained glass from across the centuries.
*Participants need to be available for BOTH workshops days which are Friday 30th September and Friday 14th October 2022*
The workshop is suitable for absolute beginners or people who have some experience. If you would like to bring some sketches and art works, please do so. High contrast images work well. We will be making a panel 20-25 cm square in total.
Cost includes all materials and use of equipment.
Refreshments and lunch is provided, please advise of any dietary requirements when booking. coffee, tea and cake will be available.
Health and safety, please bring a face mask, this is required for glass painting and wear covered shoes not sandals. Don’t forget any reading glasses for close up work and an apron.
