Tackling Modern Slavery in Hertfordshire: A Multi-Agency Vision

WILBERFORCE INSTITUTE, Oriel Chambers, 27 High Street, Hull, HU1 1NE

8 Feb 2018

By Detective Sergeant Duncan Montague, Serious and Organised Crime Unit, Hertfordshire Police: Operation Tropic.

Operation Tropic is a small team of one detective sergeant, two detectives and an assistant investigator who coordinate the forces’ response, so they manage all of the intelligence that is coming through the force and look to develop that intelligence.

They manage all of the NRM cases that are referred in. Equally, they support any investigation where human trafficking and modern slavery might be involved and review cases and give specialist trafficking advice.
