Team GB Family Activity Trails

The University of Hull is partnering with Team GB to launch family activity trails as part of a new project in Hull!

The activity trails are a way of getting people out and walking in their local outdoor nature spaces! But this isn’t an ordinary walk – on your route, you will find 13 Team GB signposts. Once you spot a post, use a smart phone to scan the QR code, and you will unlock a challenge to try out! It could be an activity based on Olympic sports, a physical activity game, a nature activity, or a brain game.

That’s not all! You can also collect online badges and track how far you’ve walked! Can you collect all the Olympic sport badges?

To celebrate the start of the project, the University will be hosting a family fun day in Victoria Dock Park.

Joining us at the event will be a Team GB Olympic athlete! They will lead a fun family warm up before heading out on the walking trail with you.
Once you get back, look out for exercise challenges led by Tigers Trust, get a free Team GB face paint, and meet an Olympic athlete! You can also win a Team GB prize by entering our drawing competition!
