Taking inspiration from the City of Water exhibition and the history of Hull’s floods the participants will produce a series of intaglio prints using recycled materials.
Tetra Pak printing is a versatile introduction into Intaglio and Collagraph printing processes, suitable for beginners and experienced printmakers.
Using recycled juice, milk and soup cartons; this creative printing process is an exciting way forward to more sustainable printing. A wide range of mark making can be achieved through cutting, scoring and peeling the plate. The imagery will be developed further using the collage technique Chine Collé.
