The Avenues
With support from Minimum Wage + Fragile Acts
The Avenues bring their infectious energy and sharp song writing to Polar Bear Music Club for a night of driving indie rock and unforgettable hooks. Hailing from Hull, this rising quartet have been making waves with their high-octane live shows and anthemic sound, blending gritty northern charm with festival-ready choruses. With a growing reputation on the UK live circuit and radio support under their belt, The Avenues are a band on the cusp, and this is your chance to catch them up close before they break bigger stages.
They’ll be joined by support acts Minimum Wage, known for their raw, working-class lyricism and punchy punk edge, and Fragile Acts, delivering emotive alt-rock with melodic bite and atmospheric depth.

With an overwhelming outpour of support from the resilient community of Hull, ‘Polar Bear Music Club’ made a triumphant return in 2021, this time as a Community Interest Company (CIC). In collaboration with their friends from ‘The Sesh,’ Polar Bear is dedicated to offering free entry nights every Tuesday, featuring a diverse line-up of local, national, and international musicians. Additionally, the venue hosts weekly free entry club nights, along with ticketed gigs and live performances, catering to a wide range of musical tastes and preferences for the people of Hull.
