The Children’s Bookshow is coming to Hull for the very first time and are delighted to present the highly-acclaimed writer and poet Michael Rosen at Hull New Theatre on Wednesday 27th November. Michael is a passionate advocate for children’s reading and has been delighting audiences with The Children’s Bookshow for many years.
Aimed primarily at school groups, but also open to home-educating families, this hour-long performance is suitable for children aged 7 to 11. This will be an exhilarating and thoroughly entertaining experience of poetry in performance. Children will be delighted to watch and join in with Michael as he performs many of his well-known poems and leaves children laughing until their faces hurt! During his hour-long show, Michael expertly interweaves performance with tips and advice for children on how to write their own poetry, leaving even the most reluctant readers and writers buzzing with enthusiasm!
There will be an opportunity after the event to buy Michael’s books and have them signed by him.
