| Did you know, sea turtles have been around way before us, since 100 million years ago? Join us this February half-term (11th – 19th) for a ‘Shellebration’ on all things turtle!
Visitors will be able to help our turtle nurses at our “Shiny Shell Turtle Hospital” and learn how to diagnose and treat our poorly turtles. There will be four turtles in need of your help; Titan, Tizzy, Tony, and Tina! ‘Bob’ down to our interactive workstations, fill out our checklist, and learn all about the turtles at The Deep. Immerse yourself into the role of a mother turtle and lay your own eggs in our sand buckets, exploring how different temperatures affect the gender. Discover how baby sea turtles navigate towards the ocean and the difficulties distinguishing between streetlights and moonlight, learning how the baby turtles overcome this. Engage with our interactive presentations from our guiding team and discover turtle-y amazing facts about our rescue and rehabilitation work. The Turtle Hospital event is included in standard ticket entry, no additional booking is required. Prebooking is essential for all visits. Have a turtle-y awesome time! |

Visit The Deep, Hull’s award-winning aquarium and be taken on a journey through prehistoric seas, past tropical lagoons, into the vast open oceans, down to the darkest depths, through the chilly Kingdom of ice and into the future.
