Formed from the ashes of The Sid Presley Experience in 1985, The Godfathers’ mob inspired image, raw lyrics & guitar-driven, edgy rock & roll sound was in direct contrast to the clean, synthesized sounds that mainly dominated the mainstream charts at that time & foreshadowed the Brit-Pop/Rock resurgence of the early 1990’s.
After calling it a day in 2000, the band reformed in 2008 and marked the 35th anniversary since their formation in 2020 with the double A-side single “I’m Not Your Slave”/”Wild and Free”. A brand new album, “Beta Gamma Delta” was released in September 2022.
