The Orb is a British electronic music band known for pioneering the genre of ambient house. The Orb is heavily influenced by dub music, and much of their later output has been in the electronic dub category, more so than ambient house.

The Welly is Hull’s legendary alternative night club and live music venue – existing for over 100 years! Hosting [w]eekly club nights playing the very best in: Indie, Pop-Punk, Alternative, Electro, 90s, Rock, and Drum’n’Bass. The Welly consists of three separate capacity rooms W:1 , W:2, LOUNGE, and our hidden ‘Pub in a Club’ Mrs. Wilson’s – named in honour of the woman herself, who ran the club in the early 1960s.
