An intimate all star acoustic evening of songs and stories highlighting the career of one of Scotland’s most loved and prolific songwriters. Featuring Mark Brzezicki (Ex Big Country), Simon Hough (Ex Big Country), Chris Layhe (Icicle Works), and Ken Nicol (Steeleye Span). A very special union of 4 of the finest musicians performing the ultimate acoustic homage to the late great Stuart Adamson. You can expect all the classic Big Country hits that we all know and love plus some songs that have never been played live before.

Mark Brzezicki is regarded by many as one of the top drummers on the planet and is also responsible for all the great drumming and percussion on all the Big Country songs. Mark has been, and still is the foundation block behind the sound of Big Country. His CV is a who’s who of Rock Royalty.

Chris Layhe is one of the founding members of 80’s Icon Band, The Icicle Works and is regarded as an amazing bass player. Chris still tours alongside Ian McNabb as The Icicle Works.

The union of Mark and Chris has created the foundation to build a skyscraper of a set highlighting the amazing songs of Stuart Adamson.

The third member to join this amazing band is guitar genius Ken Nicol. Ken’s background includes Steeleye Span, Magna Carta to Al Stewart. Ken is regarded as one of the finest acoustic players around.

Last but by no means least is Simon Hough the former lead singer of Big Country for over a decade. Simon took over the Big Country vocal duties when Mike Peters left the band. He was the lead vocalist and frontman for an incredible 13 years performing all over the world.
