Toby Jepson – ‘My Life In Words’ live music

Returning to the stage as an acoustic artist throughout May/June 2024, Toby Jepson brings you the stories and music of a ‘lifer’ in the music business, along with a retrospective run through the songs that have made him an enduring character of the UK rock scene for over 35 years. Applauded for his lock down ‘Digital Busker’ Facebook shows broadcast live and free from his kitchen throughout the pandemic, Toby will be bringing his legendary energy and wit along with partner-in-crime Dave Kemp in what promises to be a night not to be missed!

Born in Lincoln, raised in Yorkshire, Toby started his professional career in rock band ‘Little Angels’ formed in Scarborough in 1986. The band released three acclaimed albums, the last one 1993’s ‘JAM’ hitting No.1 in the UK charts. The band enjoyed 10 top 40 UK hit singles, as well as worldwide chart success – and toured heavily not only as headliners but with the likes of Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Marillion, Gun n Roses, Bryan Adams and ZZ Top; finally bowing out in style to a sellout Royal Albert Hall. Since then, Toby has toured as a solo artist and singer for hire with Fastway, GUN and Dio’s Disciples and most recently with ‘WAYWARD SONS’, releasing three critically acclaimed albums. Most recently touring with UFO, Steel Panther and Living Colour as well as their headlining tours and Download. THEY ROCK… Aside from being a successful writer/performer, Toby is a record producer, runs an independent film company, a screenwriter and radio presenter on Planet Roc.
