A translation workshop with poet Adil Latefi and his translator, Adham Smart, and led by Clare Pollard. The literal poem will be made available in advance online at the modernpoetryintranslation.com website, enabling participants to post up their own versions. The event will be live tweeted, providing the chance for participants to quiz the poet and translator. A new translation of Adil’s poem will take place in the session – no second languages are necessary, and this is a chance to experiment.
