Mixing guitar-driven hooks with dancey, electronic polish, Northern Ireland’s Two Door Cinema Club first gained attention with 2010’s Tourist History and singles like What You Know, Something Good Can Work and Undercover Martyn.

Tourist History received worldwide critical acclaim and it saw the band cement a global following.The band have since produced a hat trick of records of equal merit and success: Beacon (2012), Gameshow (2016) and False Alarm (2019); each scoring Top 10 positions in theofficial charts of the UK and a rave reception from critics and fans alike.

2022 sees Two Door Cinema Club return with their 5th album, ‘Keep on Smiling’, opening with the majestic summer anthem ‘Wonderful Life’. The band have performed to huge audiences and headlined festivals across the world, and headlining slots include Community Festival, Benicassim and Nos Alive.

Over 14s only in the standing area. Under 14s may sit but must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

Over 400,000 visitors have experienced events here at the venue since 2018 including Bob Dylan, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Ne-Yo, Paloma Faith, JLS, Sarah Millican, Blondie, Noel Gallagher and many more. The venue is a state-of-the-art music and events complex with a capacity of up to 4,000 people for concerts and live events, plus an array of bars, lounges, premium seating and hospitality suits including the Connexin Lounge. The venue is purpose built to offer significant flexibility for any conference, exhibition, dinner or event. With 1320 square metres of floor space, making it one of the biggest in the region, the Arena’s flexibility means we can host events of all shapes and sizes – from huge award ceremonies to smaller breakout meetings, including the University of Hull’s graduation ceremonies. The building is owned by Hull City Council and is managed by ASM Global.
