WoW presents Hannah Lasagne described by Michelle Dee as ‘one of the most exciting finds of this year or any year’
Hannah Lasagne is a trained primary school teacher but gave it all up to find work in the TV and film industry – first as a freelance video editor and then lighting camera operator.
Her big passion is working with words. Hannah has written for children’s television, performed on both television and radio and produced and toured a number of feature length comedy / spoken word shows in the early noughties.
Much of this early work centred around a belief in God, until Hannah lost her faith and her writing world crumbled around her.
After a hiatus of over a decade, Hannah has returned to writing and performance with fresh material that explores a new world of hope and grace in the face of anxiety and loss.
Please note that the open mic slots are limited to 5 minutes per person. Book your slot on the day from 1pm. Hint! get your name down early.
