Humber Street Gallery’s weekly yoga classes offer a unique setting to practice.
Taking place on our open-air roof terrace with stunning views across the city when the weather permits, or in our gallery spaces among our regularly changing exhibitions at other times – it’s a yoga studio like no other!
Led by experienced teacher Kim Hayman, the vinyasa-style classes take place weekly and are open to all skill levels, from beginners to the more experienced.
Following a successful summer run of yoga workshops, Yoga @ Humber Street Gallery will return every Wednesday, 6-7pm from 8 September for seven weeks, followed by another series beginning 3 November. Use the promo code YOGA21 to book all seven sessions starting in September for the price of six, or follow the link above to book.
What to bring
A small number of yoga mats are available at the gallery, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own where possible.
Changing facilities are available on-site, although there are no showers.
What to wear
First and foremost, wear something comfortable that allows you to move, stretch and breathe with ease.
Yoga is usually practiced barefoot, although participants are welcome to wear socks if they prefer.
We would also suggest that you bring a warmer top, such as a sweatshirt or hoodie that you may want to wear during the relaxation section of the class.
